Terms of Service
These terms are a product-ready draft. Before public launch, review them with qualified counsel and replace placeholder contact details with your legal entity information.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Drift Bottle, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to use online social services in your location. Drift Bottle is not intended for children. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Your account
You may register with email. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can sign out or permanently delete your account from the app.
4. User-generated content
You are responsible for bottles, messages, images, profile information, reports, and other content you submit. You grant Drift Bottle a limited license to host, display, transmit, process, moderate, and remove your content as needed to operate and protect the service.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
- Harassment, threats, bullying, hate, or targeted abuse.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate content.
- Illegal activity, dangerous instructions, fraud, impersonation, or scams.
- Spam, advertising, automated scraping, or attempts to manipulate daily limits.
- Uploading malware, harmful links, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Sharing private personal information without consent.
6. Moderation
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, delete accounts, or preserve records when needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or respond to reports. We may also use automated or manual safety measures.
7. Reporting
Users can report bottles and chats in the app. We review reports and may take action based on severity, available evidence, repeat behavior, and legal obligations. See Community Safety.
8. App availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that all bottles, chats, translations, notifications, or realtime features will always be available.
9. Third-party services
Drift Bottle relies on providers such as Supabase, Firebase, Apple, Google, and translation services. Their services may have separate terms and availability limits.
10. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Drift Bottle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, goodwill, or profits.
